It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret R. McCarron of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Thornton and Ann Thornton; her husband Richard; her sisters, Dorothy Berryman and Mary Ann Thornton; her son-in-law Bill James; her grandson Devin Melia; and her nephew Patrick Berryman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Melia (Jerry) and Laurie James; her grandchildren, Megan Melia, Erica and Brock James; her sisters, Ann Bova (Michael), Christine Thornton and Patricia Powers (Robert); her siblings-in-law, John Berryman and Patricia O'Neil (Daniel); and her aunt Carol Padvaiskas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Methuen Family Funeral Home (Formerly Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home) (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Monica Parish (212 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (130 N Lowell St, Methuen, MA 01844).
