He was predeceased by: his father Charles McKellar. He is survived by: his mother Barbara McKellar (Lord); his wife Laura McKellar (Beneduce); his sons, Mark and David McKellar; his daughter-in-law Avanti McKellar; his grandchildren, Milo and Maisie; his sister Lori (Ian); and his pet Abby.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SAE Foundation (https://www.saefoundation.org) to help fund STEM programming, classroom kits, vital teacher training, and STEM scholarships.
