She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Cook (Rosengard) and Samuel Cook; and her husband Martin M. Holt. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Holt and Barry Holt; her daughter-in-law Julie Samuels; her granddaughters, Monica Holt (Chris Fabiszak) and Alyssa Holt (Mike Kong); and her great grandchildren, Audriana and Ryan.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Temple Rodef Shalom (2100 Westmoreland St, Falls Church, VA 22043). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Israel Cemetery (385 Middle Rd, Haverhill, MA 01830).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to either the York Public Library (York, ME) or the General Endowment Fund at Temple Rodef Shalom (Falls Church, VA) in Phyllis' memory.
