He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton W. Burnell and Eleanor A. Burnell (Page). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Burnell (Delorm) of Haverhill; his son Duane H. Barnard; and his siblings, Norman Burnell (Donna), John Burnell, Paul Burnell, Carol Sulesky, Marlene Rodier and Frances MacLean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
