Rosalie (Tutela) Ryan Eliades Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosalie (Tutela) Ryan Eliades of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Tutela and Vincenza "Jennie" Tutela; her former husband Edward G. Ryan, Sr.; and her sister Evelyn Tutela Young. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Tracy Eliades of Haverhill; her children, Matthew R. Ryan (Christine Osekoski) of Bedford, NY, Cynthia M. Ryan (Michael Dirkes) of Newbury, MA, Edward G. Ryan, Jr. of Nashua, NH, Jennifer Ryan Safsel (Paul) of Pelham Manor, NY and Michael J. Ryan (Maureen) of Dover, NH.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Turner, Paul Turner II, Cassandra Kiley Behrendsen (Chris), Rebecca Ryan Curry (Connor), Kelsey Ryan, Leigh Ellen Ryan Magalei (Tyler), Steven Ryan, Daniel Safsel and Bennett Safsel; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Isabelle, Eli, Ellie, Sydney, Leo, Callen and Theo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the H. L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home - Haverhill (106 Summer St, Haverhill, MA 01830). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Hearts Church (165 S Main St, Haverhill, MA 01835). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Westlawn Cemetery (7 New Estate Rd, Littleton, MA 01460).
In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a college scholarship fund in Rosalie Tutela Ryan Eliades honor for East Boston students to honor Rosalie's generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.
