He is survived by: his wife Deborah Gleason Hamel; his son Mark R Hamel (Emma); his stepdaughter Sarah Cardello (Jeff); his grandchild Leena Charlotte Cardello (Billy Poirier); his sisters, Susan Riley (Randall Bennett) and Donna McIntosh (Glenn) of Haverhill; his in-laws, Bob and Mary Renaud; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Renaud (Melanie), David Renaud (Kathy), Brian Renaud (Tracey) and Doreen DeChane (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
