She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Berman and Julia Berman (Jacobs); and her sibling Sumner Berman. She is survived by: her children, Jeri Barker and Bruce Balter (Rosemary) of Newton, MA; her sister Karen Endler; her grandchildren, Daniel Barker (Jhilam Biswas), Melanie Koulermos (Matt), Sam Balter, Max Balter (Jacquelyn Morris) and Emily Balter; her great grandchildren, Avi, Rosalie and River Koulermos; her cousin Ruth Silver; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Mears. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
