He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Healey (Shoulder); and his parents, Daniel F. Healey and Kathleen Healey (Lloyd). He is survived by: his children, Daniel F. Healey, Jr. of New Hartford, CT, Mary T. Healey of Hingham, MA, Patricia H. (John Sullivan) of Dover, NH, James L. Healey of Simsbury, CT, Virginia M. (Kevin Boyle) of Millis, MA, Thomas C. Healey (Michelle) of Natick, MA and Joseph E. Healey (Elizabeth) of Harpers Ferry, WV; his grandchildren, Brendan Sullivan (Rea), Meghan Sullivan (Matthew Napoli), Christopher Boyland (Juliette Welch), Conor Boyland, Kevin, Evelyn Boyle, Quinn, Liam and Daniel A. Healey; and his great grandchildren, Harrison, Margaret and Brigit Sullivan.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Ann (289 Arch Rd, Avon, CT 06001). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Ann Cemetery (39 Arch Rd, Avon, CT 06001).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donors' choice.
