He was predeceased by: his parents, George Waldemer Nelson of Helsingborg and Linnea Holmbo Nelson of Syracuse; his children, Jennifer Lea Nelson and Eric Nelson; and his brother Robert Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Anne Nelson; his son Kirk Nelson; his grandchildren, Linnea Mines (Robert Mines), Rebecca Nelson, Sonya Nelson, Irma Nelson and Kayleen Malpass; and his brother Richard Nelson of Norwell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home (21 Emerald St, Hingham, MA 02043). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Ship Church (107 Main St, Hingham, MA 02043).
