He was predeceased by: his former wife Susan Zajonc (Fuccillo). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Zajonc (Bird); his children, Lisa Zajonc and John Zajonc; and his grandchildren, Christian Abbate (Meaghan) and Alyssa Abbate.
