Owen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Owen is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Owen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel O'Neil and John O'Neil. He is survived by: his wife Leslie; his sons, Nicholas O'Neil (Kate DeVlieger) and Owen W. O'Neil; and his siblings, Jane O'Neil Ruse, Sean P. O'Neil (Catherine), Diane O'Neil Collins (Joe) and Timothy W. O'Neil (Nell). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home (21 Emerald St, Hingham, MA 02043). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Church (147 North St, Hingham, MA 02043).
