He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Reis (Godfrey); his parents, Arthur Reis and Virginia Reis; and his siblings, Arthur Jr., Virginia, Bonnie and David.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Reis of Lancaster, MA, Barbara Murphy (Scott) of Hingham, Pamela Marcella of Scituate, Robert D. Reis Jr. (Margie) of Larkspur, CA and Steve Reis (Lisa) of Hingham; and his grandchildren, Lauren Holm (Brett), Jessica LoConte (Armand), Conor Murphy (Lauren), Nicole (James), Michael Marcella, Parker, Kevin Reis (Sarah), Steven and Bryan Reis.
