He is survived by: his significant other Shari Hart of Hingham; his daughter Sydney Rys of Hull, Massachusetts.; his parents, Richard Rys and Mary Rys of Ludlow, Massachusetts.; and his siblings, Kathryn Whyte (David) of Central Point, Debra Gora of Shutesbury, Lisa Moriarty (Daniel) of Belchertown, Richard Rys (Claudia) of Princeton, Michael Rys (Judy) of Goleta and Jeffrey Rys (Pam) of Ludlow, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by four nieces and eight nephews.
