She was predeceased by: her grandfather Swedish; her father Gus; and her grandchildren, Stephen A. Villani, Jr. and Laura Ferris Cronin. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Anthony Villani; her children, Stephen A. Villani (Patricia) of Hingham, Patricia A. Cenedella (Richard) of Duxbury, Sylvia E. Ferris of Kingston and Samuel A. Villani, II (Roberta) of Scituate; her grandchildren, Cheryl D. Kilduff (Kevin) of Duxbury, Tiffany A. Stonkus (Mark) of Hingham, Anthony G. Ferris (Dana) of Kingston, Samuel A. Villani, III (Jonathan Gonzalez) of Milwaukee, WI and Jackson B. Villani of Scituate; and her great grandchildren, Kaleen Kilduff, Catilin Kilduff, Logan Stonkus, Ava Ferris and Christian Ferris.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Violet's name to the American Heart Association or Norwell Visting Nurses Association.
