He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Mitchelson (Foley); his parents, Alexander Kidd Mitchelson and Lorraine Mitchelson (Sullivan); his brother Alexander Mitchelson; his godson Matthew Steuterman; and his grandson Aidan Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Mitchelson (Jennifer) of Hanover, Mark Mitchelson (Hannah) of Marshfield, Maura Mitchelson of Braintree and Julie Brown (Jeffrey) of Foxboro; his grandchildren, Jack, Brendan, Delaney, Alexander, Charles, Gavin Mitchelson, Ryan, Griffin, Thomas and Callum Brown; and his sister Sally Silva (Stephen) of Weymouth. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Sacred Heart Church (72 Washington St, Weymouth, MA 02188).
