With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Winthrop Marvin Hodges (Hingham, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Winthrop Hodges (Elizabeth Cornwall Hodges) and Win. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Mooney Hodges; his daughters, Cecil Anne Hodges of Norwell and Beth Hodges Mercurio of Hingham; his sons-in-law, Michael Falcone and Michael Mercurio; his grandchildren, Lila Grace Mercurio, Anne Kearny Mercurio, Robert Winthrop Hodges-Falcone, Myles Cecil Hodges-Falcone and Caledonia Kathryn Hodges-Falcone; his sister Betsy Hodges Foth (Bob); and his sibling's children, Jennifer (Josh) and Jacob Okello.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Old Ship Church (90 Main St, Hingham, MA 02043).
