It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Petell Sr. (Hinsdale, Massachusetts), born in Lanesborough, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Madaline Bradley Noble and Joseph Petell; his wife Betty-Lou Daniels Petell; and his brother Richard "Dick" Petell. He is survived by : his sisters, Carol LeBarron (Ernie) of Hancock and Sherida MacWhinne (Ronald) of Columbia Crossroads, PA; his sister-in-law Ruth Petell of New Lebanon, NY.; and his in-laws, Margaret "Peg" Gardner of Bennington, Vermont, George Daniels (Edith) of Hinsdale, Mary Adams (David) of Pittsfield and Jeanne Musgrove (John "Jack") of Pensacola, Florida.. He is also survived by 27 Grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Hinsdale (129 Maple St, Hinsdale, MA 01235). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
