He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tinney and Margaret Roberts Tinney; and his sisters, Carolyn Puffer and Grace Provost. He is survived by: his wife Marion J. Tinney of Hinsdale; his children, Ed Tinney (Tammy) of Willow Springs, NC, Laura Towne (Chris) of Town Creek, AL, Lori Tinney (Dan DeBlois) of Adams, MA, Diane Rocha (Jeff) of Paxton, MA and Robin Knapp (George) of Hinsdale; his grandchildren, Willie Hyland (Sabrina), Stephen Lazarczyk, Molly Blair (Ryan), Ashley Lazarczyk, Wesley Knapp, Nicholas Hyland (Heidy), Emily Tinney, Noah Tinney, Evan Knapp, Caleb Rocha, Aiden Rocha, Lucas, Lyla Towne and Justin Towne; his great grandchildren, Owen Mally and Lacey Malloy; and his siblings, Beverly Tatro (Joseph) of North Adams, Tammy Moore (Wendell) of Menands, NY, Wayne Tinney (Darlene) of Adams and Tom Tinney (Cindy) of Adams.
