He is survived by: his sons, Cornelius J. Doherty, Jr. of Tacoma and Joseph Doherty (Michelle) of Holbrook; his siblings, Seamus Doherty of Worcester and Timothy Doherty of County Kerry; his grandchildren, Michael, Amanda Doherty, Mary Hamilton, Angela and Sandy Doherty; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Lucah and Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
