He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tobin and Dorothy Tobin (Scanlon). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zachory and Gabriella Soares; his siblings, Claire M. Tobin (Gil Hoss) of Salem, MA, Robert A. Tobin (Ann Marie), Patricia A. Tobin of South Boston, MA and Dorothy Murray; his niece Kristina J. Tobin of Rockland, MA; his nephews, Ricky Murray of Nashville, TN and Anthony P. Tobin of Los Angeles, CA.; and his sister-in-law Ruriko Tobin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cartwright Funeral Home (69 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (153 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to a Charity of one's choice.
