We announce the death of Carol Wilcox Rice (Holden, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 84. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carol’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edson Rice and Anna Rice (Wilcox). She is survived by: her brother Calvin Wilcox Rice (Priscilla); her niece Jessica Padilla (Sheldon); her great-nephew Devlin Padilla of Littleton, CO; and her cousins, Bruce Smith (Donna), Sandy Fort, Jan Hastings and Theresa Burke.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rural Cemetery (180 Grove St, Worcester, MA 01605).
