He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril and Grace (Harding); and his siblings, Thomas, James, Grace, Shirley and Marcia.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Harland (Scott) of Whitinsville and Thomas (Erin) of Hubbardston; his grandchildren, Robert Blood of Manchester, NH and Caroline Harland of Whitinsville; his brother Robert of Boston; and his former wife Norma Aldrich of Whitinsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
