He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnson and Ruth Johnson (Durgin). He is survived by: his spouse Gail R. Johnson (Haines); his children, George A. Johnson, Jr. (Nichole) of Rutland and Juliane Dvoskin (Mike) of Rutland; his siblings, Robert Johnson (Sandy) of Boylston, Jeffrey Johnson, Eric Johnson (Denise) of Boylston, Paul Johnson (Lisa) of Boylston, Carol Goulet (James) of Boylston, Ellen Schremser (Dennis) of Dudley and Susan Forbes of Boylston; and his grandchildren, Tyler Anderson (Micaela), Aidan Anderson, Preston Anderson, Ella Johnson and Luca Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
