He is survived by: his parents, Gary L. Halzel and Betsy A. Halzel (Lyon); his siblings, Zachary Halzel of Cambridge, Jeremy Halzel of Westfield and Melody Halzel; his sibling-in-law Chris Molineux of Honolulu, HI; his sibling Hillary Morales; his brother-in-law James of Westboro; his sister Naomi Halzel of Lowell; his grandmother Joan Lyon (Ed Goldberg) of Sarasota, FL; and his nieces, Maya and Ari. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
