He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Gertrude; his wife Patricia Cote (Breen); his son Joseph L. Cote Jr.; and his siblings, Arthur Jr., Frank, Richard, Oscar, Ernest, Viola Rathbun Marguerite Evarts and Rita Halajko.
He is survived by: his son William Cote of Lowell; his granddaughter Angela Cote of Webster; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaia Blain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
