He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Lewis Wood Whiting and Esther Whiting (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Stephanie V. Whiting (Compitello); his children, Elizabeth Whiting Dumas (Zach) of Paxton and Jonathan Whiting of Concord; his granddaughter Robin Dumas; his sisters, Carolyn Whiting, Joanne Fortin and Barbara Drew (Scott); and his close friends, Paul Gregoire, Bruce Whipple, Robert Friesen and John Compitello. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
