Linda T. (Deprey) Fitzsimmons, born on August 12, 1948 in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, passed away on September 29, 2026. Linda leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. "Fitzy" Fitzsimmons, Sr.; her parents, Edgar and Joanne; and her brother-in-law James Ballard. She is survived by: her children, Christina McCarthy of Oxford and Robert Fitzsimmons, Jr. (Ashley) of West Brookfield; her stepchildren, Michael Fitzsimmons (Amy) of Gardner, Steven Fitzsimmons (Jessica) of Taunton and Shelley Haschke (John) of Auburn, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlyn (Jacob) and Karissa; her stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie, Payton, Allison, Reagan, Connor, Riley, Ethan and Ryan; her sister Sandra Ballard of Westborough; her nieces, Rebecca and Michelle (Toby); and her former husband Alexander Lorincz. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Worcester County Memorial Park (217 Richards Ave, Paxton, MA 01612).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
