He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Burgess and Anna Burgess (Malonis); and his siblings, Marie A. Manzello (Burgess), William H. Burgess, Jr., James F. Burgess and Joan C. Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Lenore; his children, Deborah A. Burgess of Worcester and Richard J. Burgess, Jr. (Cheryl) of Holden; and his grandchildren, Alaina, Reanne and Kate Burgess. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
