With sadness, we share the passing of Richard H King (Holden, Massachusetts). Richard, born on January 24, 1934 in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, passed away on September 13, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard H King to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert King and Frances King (Hood). He is survived by: his wife Reta Schoonmaker; his children, D. Whitney King (Jan), Richard "Rick" H. King Jr. (Peter Erbland) and Nanci Shepardson (Michael); and his grandchildren, Sarah King (Michael Zimmer), Carin Malley (Brian Malley), Annie King (Andrew Hunter), Lucy King (John Savino), Sally Shepardson-Fungarino (Eduardo Fungarino) and Susie Shepardson (Cody Davis). He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Francis Episcopal Church (70 Highland St, Holden, MA 01520).
