He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Wood and Rose Wood (Blanchard); and his siblings, Carolyn Cookson, Dorothy Wood, Joan Wood, Rosemary Kruczynski and Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Judy (McKinnon) of Rutland; his children, Kristen Pepin of Rutland and Richard Jr. (Abbi) of Paxton; his great grandchildren, Kayla (Joe Dowling) of Raynham, Kathryn, Rachel Pepin, Nathan and Lauren Wood; Joseph Jr. and Eloise Richee Dowling.
