He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" McDermott (Boyle) of Bentonville, AR; his children, Patricia Chapman (Scott) of Bella Vista, AR, Robert McDermott, Jr. (Cynthia) of Mercer, ME and Timothy McDermott (Sharon) of Durham, CT.; his sister Beverly McDermott Gallagher (Thomas) of Worcester; his sister-in-law Eileen Boyle Gerrits (Gerald) of The Villages, FL.; his grandchildren, Meghan Miller (Ryan) of Cumming, GA, Caitlin Campbell (Christopher) of Dallas, TX, Kyle McDermott of Nashua, NH, Timothy and Taylor McDermott of Durham, CT.; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Miller and Ava Campbell.
