He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy F. (Ziemlak); his parents, George Russell and Bertha Russell (Niles); and his brother George K. Russell. He is survived by: his daughter Colleen A. Ahearn of Spencer; his brother Martin Russell (Linda); his grandchildren, Ashley LaCasse (Joshua), Johnathon Ahearn, Morgan L. Ahearn and Rose Ahearn; his great grandchildren, Kenzie Ahearn, Scarlett Branhan and Wyatt R. Ahearn-Moore; and his friend Honey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Worcester County Memorial Park (217 Richards Ave, Paxton, MA 01612).
