He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Travers and Mary Travers (Zygiel); and his siblings, Gilbert Travers, Joseph Travers and Dorothy Wilde.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Travers (Walsh); his sons, Paul Travers (Mary Ann) of Downers Grove and William Travers (Jessie Washington) of Decatur, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Jackson and Brady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
