He is survived by: his wife Anne Byers (Poling); his son William Pete Gray Byers; his stepmother Jan Byers of Chemainus, BC; his siblings, Shaun Byers (Jaime) of Star City, SK and Tamara Houk; his niece Zoe Houk of Tisdale, SK.; his father-in-law Lynn (Rodney Poling); his brother-in-law Luke Poling (Mandy) of Doylestown, PA; his nephews, Charlie and Max; his brother-in-law Nick Poling (Marta) of Austin, TX; his nephew Henry; and his niece Ingrid.
