We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024, at the age of 74, Richard E Gentille of Holliston, Massachusetts, born in Baldwin, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Gentille and Ruth Gentille (Clarke). He is survived by : his spouse Jean Gentille (Smith); his children, Renee Massauro (Frank) of Ashland, Heather Carew (Bryan) of Foxborough and Ryan Gentille (An) of East Milton; his grandchildren, Anthony, Danielle Massauro, Brielle, Cadence Carew, Logan and Arya Gentille; his sisters, Karen Irving of Carver and Gail Ronayne (Mark) of Bridgewater; and his nephew Richard Irving (Laura) of East Bridgewater. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish (8 Church St, Holliston, MA 01746). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Richard's name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168, in support of Pancreatic Cancer research.
