It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia C. Petersen (Holliston, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Loughman (LeBlanc) and Leo B. Loughman; her husband Henry C. Petersen; her grandmother River; and her siblings, Martha McPhee, Pauline Ridge, Joe Loughman and Marie Loughman.
She is survived by: her children, Corinne Lentoni of Framingham, John Petersen (Jean) of Belleair, FL, Donald Petersen (late Ann Petersen) of Mashpee, William Petersen of Mashpee, Eleanor Qualls (Kevin) of St, Mary Orcutt (Peter) of Beaverton, OR and Eric Petersen (Jennifer) of Lake Oswego, OR.; and her grandchildren, David, James, Kristopher, Michael, Ryan, Casey, Emma, Daniel, Matthew, Jonathon, Hannah, Charlie and Kate. She is also survived by her 8 great-grandchildren. And she was a cherished Aunt Virginia to her many nieces and nephews.
