Alice leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Alice’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Alice will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Forand and Clotilda Degraphe; her husband Eugene E. Allen (Gene); and her grandmother Burke6. She is survived by: her sister Doris Lusignan (Forand) of Holyoke; and her close friend Marlene Fortin. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, a great-great niece and great-great nephews, as well as many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A procession will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (1945 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Saint Jerome Cemetery (1666 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040).
