LaFortune of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Orange, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on August 2, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Johnson and Ida Johnson of Orange, MA.; her husband Frederick LaFortune; and her sons, Dennis LaFortune and Craig LaFortune.
She is survived by: her children, Jonathan LaFortune, Frederick LaFortune, III (Lisa), Eric LaFortune (Christine), Maureen Owsiak (late Frank) and Michelle Kane (William Kane); her daughter-in-law Nora LaFortune; and her pet Bogart. She is also survived by 12 grand children and 20 great grand children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Saint Jerome Cemetery (1666 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040).
