It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernardo Mattey (Holyoke, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bernardo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernardo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Templo Ebenzer Church (200 Main St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Forestdale Cemetery (300 Cabot St, Holyoke, MA 01040).
