He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah Adkins and Dolly Adkins (Sellers). He is survived by: his wife Freda Fay Adkins (Wilburn); his daughters, Felisa Adkins of Holyoke and Melissa Collazo of Holyoke; his siblings, JD Adkins of Georgia and Brenda Adkins of Chicopee; and his grandchildren, Zachary Adkins and Adrian Collazo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
