He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Cecile; his stepfather Emmett Dunn; and his sisters, Mary McIntosh (Dunn) and Elaine Rud (Dunn).
He is survived by: his daughters, Trudy Bovee and Lori Rivest of Holyoke; his grandchildren, Kimberly Bovee, Robert Roy, III of Pittsfield and Jessica Arias of Springfield; his great grandchildren, Robert Roy, IV of Springfield, Micah of Springfield, Isaac of Springfield, Jacob Arias of Springfield and Blu Sprague Roy of Pittsfield; his brother William Dunn (Donna) of East Bridgewater, MA; and his close friend Tom Briotta of Warren, MA.. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
