He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Toton and Sophie Toton (Ziakowski). He is survived by : his wife Loretta "Laurie" Toton (Christiansen); his sons, Eric Toton (Janice) of Westfield and Marc Toton (Amy McGrath) of West Springfield; and his grandson Cameron Hiltbrand of Westfield.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Toomey O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ma Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
