He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Nathaniel Bailey and Addie Rae Bailey (Eddington); and his siblings, Charles, Persia Bailey and Gladys Sutton.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Bailey; his children, Cicely, Malissa, Ashley Bailey of Springfield, Massachusetts and Blake Davis; his daughter-in-law Karla Davis of Springfield; his siblings, Rev. Amos Bailey (Ruth), Eloise Clark, Irma Foster and Ernestine Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Mother Doha Bailey, Belinda, Christine, Sherri, Thomas and Donnie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
