With sadness, we share the passing of James K. Moore (Holyoke, Massachusetts). James, born on November 27, 1945, passed away on November 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember James for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. James’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Moore and Connie Moore (Kiely); his brother Shaun K. Moore; and his son Talmadge "Greg" Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Moore (Barber); and his daughters, Cynthia "Cyndi" Moore-Devine (Sean) of Clever, MO and Amy Mayhew (Paul) of Hartsville, TN. He is also survived by many loving cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite Veterans or Pet Rescue Association in memory of Jay Moore.
