He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Flahive and Mary Flahive (Hanafan). He is survived by: his wife Pauline R. Flahive (Leneau); his sons, Edwin, William, James, David and Steven Rowell; and his siblings, Margaret Breslin and Patrick Flahive. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
