He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislaw Gadek and Rozalia Gadek (Czygier); and his brothers, Walter Szulc, Stanley Gadek and William Szulc.
He is survived by: his children, Justin A. Gadek (Erica) of Holyoke, Brittany L. Gadek of Holyoke, Kaitlyn Lemire of Keene, NH and Kassidy Lemire of Mansfield, CT; his brother Albin Szulc of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Kaden Williams, Eion, Jayvian Luna, Anias Guzman, Leila Fields, Arlo, Amelia Montel, Gabriel Kujawa, Aiza, Maanis Hashmi and Baby Boy Gadek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Kozikowski Funeral Home (565 Front St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Basilica (566 Front St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
