She is survived by: her children, Laura Cantin (Kevin Cantin), William F. Stapleton, Jr. (Christine Murphy), Lisa Melanson (Jack Melanson) and Edward Stapleton; her grandchildren, Finn Melanson (Julia Campenelli), Ned Melanson and Amelia Melanson; and her brother-in-law James J. Stapleton (Louise). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
