He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Picard and Emilia Picard (Lemelin); his significant other Helene G. Picard (Beauregard); his sons-in-law, Hal DeWindt and Benjamin Seawell; and his siblings, Renald, Robert, Leonidas, Jacques Picard, Madeleine Picard and Liliane Bernard.
He is survived by: his children, Denise M. Benoit (John) of Longmeadow, Suzanne L. Picard of New York, NY and Richard L. Picard (Jane Callahan) of Fall River, MA; his granddaughter Emilia Rose Benoit of Medford, MA; his siblings, Benoit Picard (Lina Morneau) of Canada, Jean Marie Picard (Colette Roy) of Canada, Armand Picard (Jacqueline Soucey) of Canada, Thérèse Picard of Canada, Florence Picard of Canada, Beatrice Picard Daviau (Francois) of Canada and Jeannine Picard Daubney of Chicopee; and his friend Ann Lutservitz of Chicopee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Holyoke Hospice Life Care, 575 Beech Street, Holyoke, MA 01040 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
