She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. O'Connor and Margaret M. O'Connor (Ryan); her husband David P. O'Connell; and her siblings, Mary Hamel, Patrick O'Connor, Christine Wiselogel and Daniel O'Connor.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Mary Beth DeLisi (Steve), Michael (Helen), James (Laurie) and Kevin; her grandchildren, Charlie, Justin, Lauren, Kristen (Sam O'Connor), David (Deidre), Elizabeth, Sarah (Treyson Hopper), Davis and Rachel; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Madison Spell and Cathan Michael O'Connor; her daughters-in-law, Allison O'Connell and Jordana Mausel O'Connell; and her close friends, Gail Gaughan, Ethel Kennedy, Maureen Murphy, Janet Chagnon and Erica Blanchette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A procession was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (1945 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A committal service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Ma Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
