With sadness, we share the passing of Muriel Gubala of Holyoke, Massachusetts. Muriel, born on March 7, 1931, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoleon Geoffroy and Parmelie Geoffroy (Richotte); her husband Frank J. Gubala; and her siblings, Jeanne St. Jacques and Joseph Geoffroy.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Gubala (Lynette), Gail Griffin (David), Susan Devlin (Mark), David Gubala (Mary) and Donna Saletnik (Steven); her grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Melanie, David, Geoffrey, Kelly, Kevin, Sean, Erin, Robert, Jessica and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Brennan, Patrick, Isaiah, Elijah, David, Lily, Harrison, Hazel, Harper, Henry, Griffin, Barrett, Bennett, Blake, Aiden, Alex, Shane and Evan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Our Lady of the Cross Church (Holy Cross Ave, Holyoke, MA 01040). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
